Step back in time as you visit a Pensacola staple since 1945. It still has that old school flavor and still serves diner staples with a few twist of their own. It is very popular, and seating is limited, but the wait was not long. Apparently, everything on the menu is available at any time because when joked about getting their famous onion rings for breakfast, Jennifer, our server, said no problem. We didn't get the because we were trying quite a few breakfast items, but I will definitely be back to try them. Eggs prepared any way you want, with a variety of breakfast meats from bacon to chicken tenders to beef steak. The grits were creamy and seasoned well. The coffee is good and plentiful, and the pancakes are fluffy and cake like. It's not polished but perfect. Open breakfast and lunch only and closed on Tuesday. Make your way here for the best breakfast you are liable to have at a price you can't beat.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast with my friend today. We chose new spot and we were not disappointed. We did not have to wait for a table. The entire staff was super friendly. However, we realized that we made it before the rush because it was filling up quick. I will bring my family back next time to eat. Thank you for such a great experience today.
This is a gem of a restaurant! It has such a classic and vintage vibe. The service was quick and friendly. The food was a good price and fresh, highly recommend if youβre wanting a local favorite.
great breakfast place but you gotta get here sooner than later. the food is phenomenal because of the taste and presentation. has kind of an old time feel. there were vintage paintings and posters on the walls and historic pics of the place.
I first sat at the counter then decided I wanted a window booth then I had to change it all again to to-go because I had a rider to pick up faster than scheduled so they were awesome w each change I made, never once felt I was bothering them even though I was lol. So. I had told my rider I would share my sandwich w her, I wish I hadn't, it was so good I hope she declined lol I had bacon egg sandwich on white toast but I meant to add a tomato on that but forgot, and some grits. So good, I'm hoping my rider doesn't want the grits either but I said I'd share
Consistent interior vibe. Breakfast is great, but they serve lunch/dinner items in the morning, too. How such a small griddle space can produce so quickly has baffled area scientists and engineers since the late 1940s.
Our first visit to the Coffee Cup was a good overall experience. Our server was helpful and did a great job keeping my coffee topped off. Unfortunately, my egg was overcooked. Even though the food wasn't spot on, the atmosphere was pleasant. It certainly earned a future visit.
Classic diner with delicious food at a great price! A very nostalgic feel. The staff is super friendly! And Chef Mike is a must watch if you're sitting at the counter. Biscuits and sausage gravy are tasty and filling. Eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. Coffee is delicious too! We will be back!
